It doesn’t really matter at this point but I would just like to know to kinda get an idea of how Jay evaluates players. Really wish one of the reporters would ask him what he saw or didn’t see with Larson in the Fall that he felt like he wasn’t ready to start the season in the lineup.

He was asked recently. Felt like he was coming in at the end of spring but didn’t think he was ready

He hit .204 in fall. Jake Brown hit .321

So Jake Brown started the year. Brown was hitting well early in the year then went on a huge slump and hasn’t been in the lineup since. Larson was the opposite. I don’t think this is really a “misevaluation” as much as a young player quickly maturing
