I don’t hate it but most college pitchers don’t have good enough control to be shifting your infield around IMO

Defensive positioning is based on tendencies. It works far more than it fails. Multiple times this year we've had our shortstop playing directly over the second base bag and it has taken away hits. These have come in huge spots late in games. I think it happened like 4 times against Tennessee.
