Does the IOC have a position on men competing against girls?

The IOC has left these decisions to the individual sport governing bodies.
They did release some nebulous, politically correct guidelines/ recommendations that nobody has to adhere too, but it still comes down to the individual sports bodies.

They should just have a policy that the worlds best may compete regardless of sex.
