Lots are subpar but the crew on Sherwood is usually solid. Your shoes will stick to the floor, you might see a hooker OD'd in the grass outside the parking lot but the food is usually on point... well the red beans are going to be half empty but that is every fricking popeyes.

This is fact. I don’t know if people forgot how good Popeyes used to be, or if it’s just been too long ago, but Popeyes today is wholly inferior to Popeyes 20+ years ago. Back when the onion rings were actually onions and the red beans were creamy and flavorful. Back when it was owned by Copeland. I think it’s name recognition now plus Popeyes wasn’t as widespread so most people outside Louisiana never got to experience it’s true glory.
