At some point parents will be forced to choose between adding technology/gene therapy to their fetuses for increasing intelligence etc or risk their children being significantly behind and the equivalent of special Ed.

Some nights I can't sleep, I wake up thinking how to solve a problem at work. I'm a software developer so the solutions are endless and probably monotonous to most.
Other nights, if I have a project going on around the house, I'm thinking through the steps of what I need to do the next day. I recently built a 12X24 shed which is a relatively simple build, but I couldn't sleep a couple of nights because I was thinking about all the details I needed to pay attention to for the next couple of steps of that project.
I'll be building a shop in the next year, and that one will keep me awake thinking about the dumbest details.
Other times I fabricate arguments with the wife in my head and get myself worked up.
