he still has a fairly high ob% (.397), 6th place among the starters. he has been hbp 12 times. the LSU fans are telepathically transferring their frustration with Kling by willing the opposing pitchers to plunk him. often.
but as has been established, it does not matter how he gets on base. and he steals bases at an 80% rate (8 for 10). so even with his poor at bats, his productivity is not as bad as his pitiful at bats. 2 strikeouts with no swings in one game. ugh

Hooligans ghost you are using his total seasons stats. He has proven he can hit lower level non SEC pitching well. However his SEC batting average is .156 and his SEC OBP is .289 both are indefensible. He has shown this year and last he is unable to hit SEC pitching. Kling along with Neal and his .114 SEC batting average need to hit the portal for a place like Southeastern or McNeese where they have a chance to hit the pitching.
