They’ve created all black dorms, all black student commons, black graduations, BET, funding programs for black owned businesses, blaming whitey every step of the way…

…and then whitey reminds them they can do the same.

Wahhh wahhhh wahhhh… race card is dying. Who saw this coming.

That’s because it is usually riddled with corruption and ends in a catastrophe. Look no further than Latoya. Who can say with a straight face BR has been a better city under Broome.

the fact that he thinks the buckhead/atlanta situation is comparable to st george/baton rouge shows how little he knows about what's going on...sandy springs or brookhaven would have been an appropriate analogy...

True - BUT those two Black mayors have been in office for the past 19 years (since 2005) so basically 10% of our existence as a city.

Also, bring back Kip!

His silence on the 30% is deafening . .it is about a climate of lawlessness, which begins in the home...stop blaming others for the ineptitude of others

Kip was ok - Broome is absolutely awful.

So historic neglect by previous leaders created a tale of two cities. I’ve been saying it for over a decade. Now it’s here.

Baton Rouge was a great place to live up until 2005 or so.

so, they’re killing each other because of inequity? The social ills are self-inflicted.

This is and has always been a war for resources for them, we need to do whatever is in our power to protect our resources as a city. There is no room to compromise with people who have literally divided this community, to make a 70% white city.

St. George could give every BR resource away and still be better off.

Gravy is a blowhard POS that is a victim at every, single turn. They good people of BR would be 100000 x’s better off he just left.

He needs to crawl back in the hole he’s been in the last several years. It’s not our fault he didn’t become the next Jesse Jackson. There’s plenty of grifters on both sides of our political divide and he’s definitely one, are at least he tried to be.

The St. George folks should give him the biggest platform and microphone. He’s great for them.

70% white city.

Would mean 30% are POC & they are also tired of BR's BS. No?

And whoever this Gary Chambers is, he's just a fatass, ignorant race baiter.

But I'm on the outside looking in. Idk much

Umm. No.

We don’t want black leadership because black people cant even lead their own community. Let’s stop beating around the bush.

Show me ONE competent black “leader.” You can’t lead anything when your entire ethos is blaming others for your lack of ability to take accountability for the mess in your own house.

This mentality is literally the opposite of leadership. You are requiring people to be victims. Miss me with the leadership bullshite.

Call me whatever name you see fit. I stand on this.

Truth hurts.

That’s literally the same argument made by St. George.

It's remarkable that anyone supports him for any public office. He likely couldn't pass a high school civics test.

I read it and have no idea what he said. He hates white people living in Baton Rouge, so they developed their own city and that pisses him off too?
