When I was a student in 2011 some students planned a flag burning.
After thousands of us descended upon the parade grounds, they escorted the protester away. We chanted USA. It was fun times.
This, I also believe, was the year we took over middleton with the flash rave, and did the Harlem Shake at the PMAC.
College was great.

You cannot cheer on Natives and claim we live on stolen land and then hold Israel's feet to the fire for defending themselves (never the aggressors) against the same thing the Europeans did to the Natives.

We view the 1700s through a lens of 2024. It's impossible to understand. For thousands of years land was taken by force. If you couldn't stop it, no one cared. You were SOL. But we we care that a land owned by the British was carved out and given to the Jewish people after the Holocaust and want to act like land ownership has never changed hands in the history of the world? Its hilariously ignorant. History is not being taught anymore and it is sad.

This thread is depressing because it’s obvious how old everyone on here is. 20 years ago, half the board would be headed to campus to broadcast live to tiger droppings. Somebody would show up with a TD sign probably, yet now we are all going in for our prostate exams and can’t make the party.
