I don’t know any lawyer who is likely to take on an obviously troubled client who looks likely to have already seriously damaged his legal position (I’m admittedly reading between the lines there) and do so on a pro bono basis. And a lot of attorneys prefer to handle pro bono representation through the various non-profits or legal aid providers as you know they’ve been screened. I’d start there:

Your post reads like you need to deal with both an unspecified, possible serious legal issue and clear mental/emotional problems that attorneys are largely unequipped to advise on.
