now, this article was from 2017 so i googled it again and Raleigh/Durham is 11 so still pretty good. Say you wanted to live here but you need a "starter home". Again, it's going to be tough getting a lower priced house in Durham for our proposed budget of $200k. But if you are willing to spread your search out, it's listed as a 1/1 for but has 3 or 4 bedrooms per the description and photos. $185k in Oxford, NC, 32 min from Durham city center, nice piece of land.

Can't wait for the excuses on this one...
