Because specifics and choices matter.
If you’re single, well guess what….very few single people could ever afford a house.
Do you fill vending machines but are mad because you can’t live downtown?
Are you in a new truck but can’t afford rent?
Do you have to work in an office or can you WFH?
Are you paying an arse of student loans?
My wife and I had a combined income of around $200k back in 1998 in our late twenties. We could buy a new home today on 1990 dollars if we had to.
