Is the f word now allowed on cnn? Was watching

Cnn and the Bill Maher show was on.. He clearly said "child fricking" when talking about groomers..

I thought I misheard and went back but sure enough he said it. The o5her 2 guests didn't even seem to care..

I’m fairly certain that’s more about adhering to sponsors than actual regulations, but I could be wrong

The FCC regulations on curse words only apply to OTA channels.

You're correct, that most cable networks would still edit them due to market concerns, however that has changed in the past 10 years or so (starting with prestige TV).
