re: Ever resign from a job with nothing lined up?

I did it before I had a house and kids. Left a job I absolutely hated. Almost made me want to change careers. I planned on taking a month or so off…turned into 6 months. By that point I was out of savings. I had several interviews and a job offer after a couple of months but it took a couple of months before I could actually start. I’m working at the same place 10 years later and love my job so I guess it worked out.
