Its my one constant while travelling. Anyone with LSU apparel gets a hefty "Geaux Tigers".

Frick ‘em, my LSU baseball jersey is one of the more comfortable casual, non T shirts I own.
I will wear what ever the frick I want. No get off my lawn!
I got a Geaux Tigers from the Syrian side of the River Jordan while I was standing on the Israeli side. For a moment relations between the two countries were thawed.

I've stopped. Apparently there are people who randomly wear gear they have no affiliation with at all and make me feel like I'm the weirdo striking up a conversation or assuming they may know something about it. This happened a few times in a row to me

When I see people decked out in LSU gear in obscure locations or yelling Geaux Tigers outside of a tailgate…I always assume they never stepped foot in a LSU classroom.

Me and some random Indian guy who wanted to take a picture with me at the Taj Mahal in India. I don't remember hearing any "Geaux Tigers" that day though....

It's always nice to run into real tiger fans in far away places. I can't tell you how many times I've said "geaux tigers" or "who dat" to someone wearing LSU/Saints gear only to get a blank stare in return.

My tour guide was so excited to take pics but I didn’t realize how bad the quality was until I was back at the hotel.

quote:my wife and i did our honeymoon on cape cod. while there we got advice from a local to go to provincetown (never making that mistake again). While there I wore my LSU shirt and hat I had with me and some random guy comes up and asks if im actually a fan or if i was just wearing it. Said he had gotten caught before saying "geaux tigers" to people who looked at him like he was an idiot because they were just wearing it because they thought it looked cool.

Anyway, come to find out this guy who was there with his flamboyantly gay looking husband was from 20 minutes away from where I grew up and was actually a 2nd or 3rd cousin (same last name as my moms maiden name). The conversation unfortunately turned weird after that as he got pushy that my wife and I hang out with him and his husband but was an interesting experience none the less.
