Anyone who doesn't root for Tennessee knows that the lion's share of Amazon's money doesn't come from online product sales - the real $$$ is in Amazon Web Services. What AWS doesn't host, Google and Microsoft likely do, with Facebook/Meta emerging as a major player in the sphere.

Now think about the implications of a legacy DARPA bloodline who just happens to "create" the world's largest online retailer, and oh by the by - 34% of the world's internet flows through AWS infrastructure.

It looks like that fable that Jeff bezos created Amazon in his garage, selling books is every bit as much fantasy as the story you were told in The Social Network.

With Jack Dorsey'recent change of heart and endorsement of Twitter 2.0 under Elon Musk, it makes me wonder what his connections are that resulted in his "creation" of Twitter?

Was he gifted the technology to run, under conditions of making backdoor access available to MILINT/IC?

This may be the first time that I've ever agreed with you, but not for the same reasons.

Amazons purpose is for centralized control. If you’re still using Amazon, you’re part of the problem…WTHU….shop local…

The Twitter architecture was not some advanced tech. Building a Twitter like clone is a part of low level Ruby classes.

The level of sophistication or complexity of the technology is immaterial. The user data is the gold they were mining for.

I’ve thought this for a bit as well. I posted this in another thread a while back:

I’ve thought this for a long time as well. Also, tin foil, what’s stopping the CIA or NSA from simply setting up some “rich entrepreneur” with a bunch of start up capital and just go build an app that people give sensitive info to Like these apps that are for cancelling subscriptions you’re not using. I assume you tie it to your bank account? What’s stopping these companies from silently monitoring your banking info/habits? Now, I have no clue how these apps work, but it doesn’t see outside the realm of possibility, especially with these 3 letter orgs that essentially have infinite funds.

Bingo. Those $500 toilet seats and $4,000 hammers on the DoD budgets make a lot more sense now, yes?

Bill Gates had connections too. He didn't build any software, and he wasn't just some random nerd.

Gates wasted zero time joining the Tech Billionaires Who Insist on "Solving" the World's Ills club....

Amazon is primarily junk today. You can get better or as good pricing from other outlets.

I have two Amazon orders over the past year. My wife has 60 orders just this year, and over 200 last year.

this is probably why Google already "securely" stores all your passwords for you. it'd be pretty easy to build a web scraper to use those login credentials and search for whatever it is they're looking for that they says makes you a "danger."
