Trump added the second most votes in his follow-up campaign than any other president in history (W first by only 300K). He totaled more votes than any other candidate in history that year by a whopping 5MM votes, except for Joe Biden - who enjoyed the benefit of some 25 MILLION mail in ballots thanks to covid election changes.
Trump didnt cost himself the election, unless you want to criticize the campaign and RNC for not harvesting, which would be a fair criticism.

I agree that Hillary looks awful to people who think like us, but the left saw her as some oracle of truth, wisdom, feminism, and progress. They saw her as an unfairly scorned female - a real victim of the patriarchy and right-wing conspiracy nuts. The full weight and might of the establishment was firmly behind her and she collected more votes than all but 3 individuals in our nation's history.
Diminishing her strength in 2016 is just a tactic to smear Trump.

If the people who believe Jotato received 81 million legitimate votes because it was a rejection of Trump then shouldn't we expect Jotato to increase his vote tally in 2024? I'm thinking at least 85-90 million.
Come on, surely the hate of all things Trump/MAGA/America First can generate another 5-10 million votes in a nation of 350 million people.

If people are voting feelings in 2024, then this country deserves everything it gets.
I feel fairly confident that the majority of folks who will vote will put their pocket book first before any other topic.
