The son of a friend of mine just finished at Pearl River Community College in some type of electronics and got a job in NC for almost 100k.

This is the kind of shite this board fricks up and someone will actually listen. Trade school is only valuable if you plan on making your own business. If you don’t, better to be white collar with a STEM degree. It’s easy to ignore the liberal kids and teachers.

And can count on being laid off and earning less than his classmates. Especially if he doesn't belong to a union.....the trades are a good way to earn a living but they are not what most make them out to be.
