I fish 3-4 days a week minimum. At least half of that time I'm by myself.

So I have had to b3come very proficient with doing it all. I'm lucky that I am usually at the ramp between 4-5 am and off the water by 11 am. So I usually only contend with guides or other experienced boat ramp users.

Now when we're just booze cruising in the afternoon or taking our jet skis out in the afternoon/evening, it's a whole other ballgame. It's like a towny bar--different crowd shifts throughout the day. The older chill day crew until early afternoon, then the after work Drinkers, then at night the partiers.

Adding that with all the rain recently, the lake is 7' high. Also, a lot of logs, debris, etc have been washed into the lake with the storm.

I would recommend to anyone not familiar with the current lake conditions, to be very careful. A ton of crap to tear up your prop or worse.

Nothing funnier than watching 6 adults, men and women holding onto their beers and jumping up and down in the bed of a pickup while trying to pull a party barge out of the water. They started out with 2 people jumping, then added 2 more before all 6 joined in. Tires smoking and the smell of rubber burning. The third time was the charm ... LOL
