I respect it. But not sure it's the formula for success in the NIL era.
I think it’ll pay off in the long run.

Are you out of your freaking mind?
This is a line of scrimmage league.
The best players want to be paid.
Plain and simple. Anyone here, especially if you are coming from a poor family like most these kids are would want the same.
Your dline under BK will be soft as shite as long as he's there. He just confirmed that to you publicly with zero shane and had the audacity to try to spin it as a positive.
Yeah good ole BK who kid a killed just wants to keep it so wholesome right? How dumb do you have to be to be okay with that?
LSU fans....cringe.

I don’t agree with that. You need to be able to buy players. Take a look at A&M and Miami. Their performance on the field has been mediocre lately and they’ve been able to buy several highly ranked recruits that they frankly have no business getting. If they weren’t offering the biggest bag, a lot of those recruits would’ve give those schools the time of day since they’ve been mediocre. But they’ve realized that in order to compete, they need to outbid everyone else.
Heck, we saw some of that with Oklahoma during BV’s first season. They had a losing record and they got a phenomenal recruiting class. They had no business getting a lot of those kids, but they knew they had to buy them to compete.
If you don’t go all in with NIL, you’re making a mistake. Michigan doesn’t really pay HS recruits, but they were fortunate to have an elite talent evaluator in Harbaugh who hit on a lot of 3* and low 4* recruits who other schools wouldn’t go overboard with NIL over. They had some top guys flip because they wanted to get paid. I suspect they’ll fall off a bit. Another school in a similar position is ND, who doesn’t really pay HS recruits either and have had several elite recruits flip because they want NIL. Clemson is being hurt as well because Dabo doesn’t believe in buying players that hit the portal.
