I’d explore trade markets for all 3 of them tbh. Even though I did love what Zion was doing for a couple of months this season. For instance, what harm does it do to call Houston up and see if Sengun is available? If Zion is what it takes to get that done, you probably should do it instead of hoping Zion’s body will finally hold up long enough for the playoffs, as he ages. I really wouldn’t be against a hard reset where we fire Griff, Willie, and trade our entire “big 3”. Because the only way we can win a championship at the moment is if Zion stays healthy for 100 games. If we keep him, we are rolling the dice that it can happen 1-2 times over the next 5 seasons, before his game completely deteriorates (d rose style) bc it’s 98% based on pure athleticism.

I don’t hate this take. If there was a time to trade Zion, it would be after he just played 70 games in a season.

I have serious doubts about Zion’s longevity and play style. Look around the playoffs, do you see any star that has only one move in their bag? Cuz I don’t. You need multiple ways to generate a shot in the playoffs. Zion has one. I don’t think Zion’s play style will translate well in the playoffs.

It's a bit too early to know who wants to make changes. Some of that will depend on how this round of playoffs goes. But for fun, I'd rank my offseason targets in this order:

1. DeJounte Murray Hawks--would package pick(s) and player(s) to get him on Pels. Long PG who shoots threes at good rate and decent % + can handle the ball in crunch time and was a good defender in SA. Problem is Hawks may hold out for Herb in the deal;

2. Jarrett Allen Cavs--I'd offer Ingram in a deal for Allen. We should also get a pick back in the deal. If ended offseason with Murray + Allen I'd be very happy;

3. Darius Garland Cavs. Secondary target, but I like his game and think he'd match well with Zion. He's small and has been injured, but he can pass and score at a high level and can run an offense. He'd be a big upgrade, but if you paired him with CJ, that's all gas, no D...;

4.Onyeka Okongwu Hawks Another secondary target but if you could expand a deal with the Hawks to get Murray and Okongwu that would be a nice package that addresses some critical needs for Pels;

5. Tyler Herro Heat. If Pat Riley is as pissed off as he seems, the player out of Miami I'd want isn't Jimmy Butler, it's Herro. CJ actually put up better shooting numbers than Tyler and is a Heat kind of guy, so CJ + a pick for Herro and possibly Jokic might be doable...;

Wild Card: The suggestion of using Zion as bait is out there, but if you could do a deal with Rockets for say Sengun & Green, Pels become a wild team with CJ/Green/Herb/BI/Sengun + Trey/Hawk/Dyson off the bench. Far fetched but fun idea. Hey, Griff did say they'd explore all options...

I was talking to guys at my work about this today. And I would add that he could come back next season as”fat” Zion. I would expect we could get a kings ransom right now

I bet Lebron would beg to differ, Lakers couldn’t do anything to stop Z in the play in
