I got 13 years out of a 5th gen 4 runner. No major repairs. Did have to replace some door parts, a light assembly, the alternator, a door hydraulic and such. But there were no repairs to the engine or transmission and it was still running great when I sold it.
Goal is to keep the new purchase for 10 years.
