Toured it in spring on my only trip to England. Wimbledon is a beautiful village which makes the walk from the rail worth it. Grounds are much smaller than I anticipated. Impeccably maintained. Court 1 has amazing sight lines because it’s totally round.
Definitely check out a women’s match before watching a men’s match. The difference is palpable.

I wish to go for the tournament once like that. I agree with you about the town being beautiful. The walk is great too. I have been a couple of times since then and considered staying out there both times.
