Those people that do bad things regarding children on the internet

Went down a rabbit hole from a link posted in another thread today.

Very odd, like watching a train wreck. Every one of those men have the same persona almost. How low can someone get in life to get to that point? Also, many times they are meeting a young child somewhere, how the hell did they expect that child to get to their location? An adult was going to have to drive them. Don't guess I've ever gone down this rabbit hole before, pretty scary stuff. I've personally never known anyone arrested for something like this.

I guess my question is to the OT "therapist" and "psychiatrist", how does this even become possible for someone? Seems you'd have to already be at suicide decision mentally before you got to this kind of behavior.
