Don’t drink anymore. But there used to not be a worse feeling in the world than it only being like 4pm and I was too tipsy to really get anything done or accomplished.

Grow up and get some help!

Same. Granted I’m a big time recovering alcoholic, but the things I don’t miss are taking a nap and waking up at 6 pm hungover, only to make another trip to the liquor store to cure the withdrawal, pass out at 10 pm, and do it all over again the next morning.

Not sure if OP is an alcoholic or if this is just a once in a while thing, but damn, it’s no way to live.

Is that when your wife gets home from work you’re too drunk to care what she says.
I don't know if it's the best thing, but it's definitely a plus. If I'm too far gone, she'll just hole up in the bedroom and I'll be left to the living room and garage. Win win

This ain't day drinking baw. This is morning drinking, which is pretty much only kosher on gamedays at the tailgate, vacations, and bachelor parties.

Mardi Gras season as well. Parades or no.
