Imagine my lily white self having a press conference and saying I’m happy I get to play for a white coach being a white man.
The UConn player commented that her WNBA coach is her first female coach she has ever had. That has to be strange.
ETA: I have run a few sports leagues. Black female coaches are pretty rare.
