Damn, she likes having a black coach. So what? She didn’t say one bad word about Mulkey or LSU. And yet idiots are on here piling on. A player who won a championship for this school. Shame on anyone criticizing her for these comments.

They aren’t ready for that conversation. But you certainly are speaking the truth.

If Michael Jordan hadn't played for Dean Smith he could've developed into a pretty good player. Angel may be on to something.

I don’t see anything wrong with what she said .
She’s stated many times how much she loved Mulkey. She could have transferred to any school with a black coach but she chose LSU.

Seriously answer this question. What if Caitlin Clark or HVL played for a black coach previously, and then plays for another team who has a white coach. And then she makes that’s same statement of “playing for someone who looks like me” how do you think that would go over?

you left out article where she compared her to Mulkey as both are LA Tech alum and did not throw Mulkey under the bus at all

Yeah, this is nothing. Some black people are excited when they meet and work with other black people. Who the frick cares?

Because she’s black. You would want a white person’s career ended over similar comments.

It’s ok that you have shitty, racist liberal viewpoints. Just be honest about them.

No disrespect, but that’s kind of a dumb question. Minorities naturally bond with one another in ways the majority does not.

It's Teresa Weatherspoon. Very well known in Louisiana from her La Tech days. She was also an assistant coach for the Pelicans for several years up until recently.

Damn, everyone is so thin-skinned over anything remotely racial.

She likes her coach, who is black. Even if she likes her coach a little more because the coach is black, who cares?

Because ALL human beings gravitate towards those who they have similarities with. And that’s ok.. the problem is when only one group of human beings gets flak for doing it or mentioning it and being proud of it.
