if it is Virginia creeper it’s easy to pull. It runs across the top of the soil and doesn’t root very deep. Get a hold of a good piece and pull up and away and you’ll get a bunch of it up. Pull again when it re sprouts. One of the very few woody vines that you can manually eradicate

Virginia Creeper and what we always called Possum Grape are two of the main ones here. Well, evil Japanese honeysuckle, too. The two natives, Virginia Creeper and Possum Grape are easy to pull when you get them where you don't want them. The honeysuckle......takes the fires of Hell to eradicate.
