You could argue that in our lives, we’ve never seen one. Cronkite? Before my time. But he was just as much of a controlled op. Effective as all get out because in those days if you tried to suggest anyone on network news was manipulating the public, they’d subpoena your dumb arse (not you) and explain how communist you were, on Television.
See, back then communist meant un-American.
