He sums it up but can't grasp the true meaning.

He said what we are doing isn't working.

He thinks that if you change the message things may work.

What he doesn't understand is the basic meaning of that fact things aren't working. The liberal policies are crazy and simply don't work in the real world.

Instead of changing the message they need to change what they are doing on a findings level.

But they can't understand this. They keep banging their head against a wall.
