Yeah, there values are roughly equal, I'd say Dejounte is probably slightly higher. The offers Griff gets for BI are going to shock people. He has 1 year left, wants 50 mill + a year, is not a good defender, was TERRIBLE with Team USA, had a terrible, beyond terrible playoff series, and is a dinosaur on offense that plays slow, refuses to take 3 point shots, and doesn't attack the rim regularly. Griff is going to get offered scraps. His work is cut out for him to get to the real offers.
100% agree. Griff is terrible at asset management. Good GMs don’t wait until rock bottom to sell an asset.

I don’t know man. Most do. Masai and other gms are the same. I’ll be honest no one really thought about trading BI last summer. We needed this season and abysmal playoff run to understand that. Now the real issue Griff has is accepting sunk cost and selling when necessary. For instance, hes let Lonzo and now Val walk for nothing instead of just accepting whats given. He needs to accept the value of BI and move forward regardless if the criticism he gets for what he gets back. I still think he can get solid value just not as high as he thinks.
