I really think he’s purposefully trolling.

Yeah, that just comes off as condescending.

I look at the landscape and judge off past trades to come up with compensation. Honestly those 5 picks are shite. The Sixers pick is 16 this year. Our pick next year would be in the 20's. Future picks in 26 and 28 from Philly (I am not sure who's pick they are), ours in 27. I don't think that's a great haul. I like Daniels, but I don't believe he's considered a great prospect at this point. I'm not even sure what position he is going to wind up, but he's not getting minutes on this team and can't get any better on the bench. He needs a change of scenery.

James Harden (and PJ Tucker) got back 3 1sts, a swap, 2 2nds and cash. I think that White and Vucevic would have more value, especially since neither are expiring or locker room cancers. I believe that you think that Vucevic is a negative asset, which is your right. But I do not agree. Some of the value comes with him.

White is an emerging star. He is super cheap. He will make less than 24M over the next two seasons combined. Ingram will probably make triple that amount. It just seems like a no brainer to me. He would be perfect for us..

You’re comparing Coby White who in his fifth year finally had a decent to pretty good season on a subpar team in the East to James Harden- a former 2 time league mvp who just led the league in assists and is a so called NBA star.

Yes White is super cheap, I like him a lot too but he has accomplished nothing. Hes had 4 crappy seasons and 1 really good one- that is not equal to emerging star. Yes he has a cheap contract but Ingram right now is a better player than Coby White. So there is no reason to give up 5 firsts and BI for a guy before this season who seemed like a bonafide bust. You’re absolutely a prisoner in the moment with this hypothetical trade. Its like “here take everything we have because I believe that this past year of Coby White means hes a future all star- even though the 4 years before it were absolute trash.

Whats ridiculous is your comparing a trade for Coby White for guys like Gobert and Harden- who are accomplished stars in this league. So yeah maybe it did come off as condescending because even though you say your looking at the landscape- you’re actually just looking at the sky and making up trades that dont make sense. Hey I got a great idea lets trade 7 firsts and BI for Josh Hart and Mitchell Robinson. Hart is an emerging star in this league. See how ridiculous that sounds?

So DD needs a change of scenery after basically a year and half. White wasn’t anything special and was considered trade fodder for a few years until he broke out in year 5. And now he’s a star? Great logic there.
