theres a huge difference in other countries. Eggs can be left out on the counter as long as they arent washed. There is a coating called the bloom that essentially protects and seals the egg shell. Once it is washed it MUST be refrigerated. And of course in the US, we chemically wash all the eggs you buy in a store.
