Have you ever been to a planet fitness? I don't think 50% of the people in there really workout.

I've gone once while on a business trip years ago and swore I'd never go back.

Don't they have "pizza Fridays" too?

Yup, the business model is create a membership that is so cheap ($10) and do random arse things, that even if someone wants to cancel, them driving up to cancel or the thought "Well if I work out once or twice a month, its worth it" pursuades them not to.

I'd imagine only 50% of people with memberships go more than once a month.

Its a clownshow of a gym

They serve pizza, coke, and krispy kreme donuts

Their business model is for people to get a membership and because it is so cheap rarely workout or just forget about it all together and keep getting charged monthly for it.
