I remember I was at the grocery when the vaccines first came out. I was all masked up and just trying to get the hell out of there.. There was an older woman, she looked like a well to do retired Black woman.

As I was putting the bags in the car we started talking about the vaccine. She was all excited about having had the shot and was quite opinionated about everyone getting the shot. At that point only older and compromised people were allowed to get the shot. But she was still questioning me about not having had the shot yet. That was the moment I realized that people were getting brainwashed about this "too soon" vaccine. I didn't want to get into a huge debate with some moron who was just regurgitating the Madcow crap.

Most of my friends got the shot and we had some serious debates. Some of the debates got heated to the point where one ended with a friend telling me "see you at your funeral" and my response was "not if I see you first"...
