While I respect any goalie in the NHL (and they have some of the stuff to deal with below in their own game), I gotta go with a MLB catcher.
You have to crouch for at least half of a 3 hour game.
You have to know all the opposing hitters.
You have to know your starter really well and every bullpen pitcher very well. You really have to be encouraging to the pitcher even when he's got his head up his arse.
You have to be aware of each situation, outs, count, runners on base, whose on the bases.
You have to know the umpires very well.
You also have to hit major league pitching at least 3 to 4 times a game and all that goes with that. So, you have to know the opposing pitcher, counts, situations, etc.
At least no one expects you to run very well.
And a whole shite-ton more, I'm sure.
