The problem with adding a guy like Jones is you're basically shelving Jose and Daniels at the PG position. Will they actually risk that by bringing in another guy who should be getting 25ppg at the position?

From the fan perspective it makes a lot of sense but will the front office feel the same way?

I don't see the problem. Jose is what Jose is. Dyson, on the other hand, is a very versatile piece, particularly if he can clean up his outside shot (drop the damn off foot, Dyson). The guy can guard 1-5. I just don't see him being a PG or bust situation

Dyson isn't a point guard

Jose isn't playable in the playoffs

Dyson has to take a HUGE leap next year to project as serviceable. He's much closer to bust status.

Absolutely this. We should only trade for a PG if the guy is a bonafide star.

Jose isn't a starter, he's a backup PG.

With Dyson, I think it's pretty obvious he'll never be a true point guard. It's not just that he's not good at the things that would make a good offensive point guard and can improve on them, it's that his entire game is basically anti true point guard.
