Seems like there's a growing trend of carrying a full backpack around everywhere in the gym and I don't understand why when there's more than enough lockers. There's lockers in the locker room and some outside of the locker room. And what could one possibly be carrying around in these huge satchels? They're usually stuffed full to the limit like a fat girl in jeans

It always amuses me when I'm walking in to work. It looks like every young person is going on an expedition. You can hear their Stanley cups sloshing and dinging around against their variety of containers for their 3 course lunches and myriad of snacks to power them through their grueling 8 hour shifts shuffling paperwork.

Lifetime Fitness has some pretty prominent signage out now that anything over a certain size should not be brought to the gym floor.

It’s a weird thing I’ve noticed. A few guys I see don’t even take anything out of their backpacks, they just carry them around from spot to spot. I don’t use a big gym, just put it with the lockers you weirdos

I always assume it’s full of dildos and they’re just trying to be prepared for impromptu Aggie stuff.

So here’s the thing about Gen Z… they don’t know how to use a combination padlock

Maybe they don’t want their things stolen? My gym has cubbies for bags as well as lockers. Last year, I had my belt stolen from my bag in a cubby while I was lifting.

Mine is stationed beside me. There’s only one other person in the gym, but me.

What else do you want me to set on pieces of equipment I’m not using?

I blame the gyms more for not policing that shite. It's trashy as hell.

I keep the things I like to use at the gym that the gym doesn't have...Fractional plates, straps for pulling the sled, hip thrust pad, a few bands for warmups, and a dip belt

If your gym doesn't have free, secure daily lockers you will have backpack bros.

My gym has cubbies instead of lockers. Some folks don't feel ok leaving their stuff in an open cubby. I change in the car and only take my car keys in with me.
