With a crime rate of 37 per one thousand residents, Phoenix has one of the highest crime rates in America compared to all communities of all sizes - from the smallest towns to the very largest cities. One's chance of becoming a victim of either violent or property crime here is one in 27.
Phoenix is a miserable, hot, dry shithole. Some of the burbs can be nice. But Phoenix proper is riddled with homeless meth whackos and fentanyl zombies... and crime. It would literally be one of the last places I would ever want to move.
Northern Arizona is cool though... I could live in Flagstaff or Sedona.

Atlanta is thriving - the Democrat Mayor is holding it together. That is about the ONLY Dem city I know of that is not a total shitshow yet.
Bruh... You're joking, right?

acquisitions after acquisitions.

City of Atlanta has been gaining population for a while now. Billions have been spent on restaurants/retail/housing etc. Corporate relocations are also very common. People don't move into cities that are crumbling see Birmingham for example that has been losing population. Atlanta isn't perfect but it fits the bill of what the OP described. Not sure why that would trigger you?

One would think that voters could do the math and work out the common thread, but you would be wrong...

I can tell you that Atlanta has one of the best economies in the United States. Crime is lower than almost all major liberal cities. I still feel safe going to downtown Atlanta. Yes, there is crime but nothing like the other major liberal cities.

The Braves had to move to a new stadium ten miles away because fans were afraid to attend night games in the inner city.

This seems like a Jeopardy question.
I will take things that aren't real for 500 please.

The Braves would never have moved if Cobb County didn’t fork over mid-nine figures in incentives to move to the Cumberland area. Crime had little to do with it (and ironically, the Summerhill neighborhood is booming in part due to the Ted’s parking lots getting redeveloped).

There are some that aren't destroyed.
Primarily in the northeast.
But, they benefit from Demographic advantages we in the South miss out on.
Also, their trajectory is terrible.

Fulton County crime rate is 5 per 1,000 people. No one is gonna publicly say 'We're getting away from the crime.'

Yea, Atlanta is soooooo awful
SEE FOR YOURSELF
And no, you are just another clueless Atlanta hater
The Braves fans were scared to attend games? That’s the dumbest fricking shite I have ever read in my life. So I guess the fans that attend Hawks games, falcons games, concerts, Georgia Tech games, SEC Championship games, World Cup soccer games, Atlanta United games every single day in the city are just a bunch of badasses and Braves fans are a bunch of pussies
The Braves conducted a huge study where they marked every single season ticket holder in metro Atlanta lived and the majority of ticket holders lived in Cobb County
There was noway that the Braves would have been able to build the Battery at the old Turner field in downtown
So they moved a couple of miles away from downtown to it’s current Truist Park location so they could build the Battery, condos, nightlife, etc in addition to one of the best baseball stadiums in America.
They didn’t move from Atlanta - their mailing address is still Atlanta
By the way, the old Olympic stadium’s lease was running out so either the Braves could have renewed their lease or build a new stadium. They build a new stadium and entertainment complex and it has turned into a massive huge success.

13.6 miles from Downtown Atlanta to Truist Park
I would say that’s a couple of miles. It might be a lot of miles for people who live in Mayberry but by Atlanta standards, that’s only a couple of miles

A couple is 2. 13.6 miles is longer than one end of Manhattan to the other. The fact the park is in the Vinings area is the only reason we’ll go to a Braves game. Vinings is on another planet vs where the park was prior. Anyone who knows anything about Atlanta will tell you the same.
They moved the park to a white area to get away from ghetto trash.

They moved the park to a white area because 90% of their fanbase are white people that live closer to that area

Ironically, the immediate areas around Truist are majority-majority (and the Cobb Parkway corridor north of the ballpark is a dump).

The NIMBYs in Vinings would have gone nuclear if the Battery were located there.

Out of all the big cities in America (damn near all of them are run by Democrats), I'd say Boston is the best answer for the OP.
