Keep in mind this is a state that hasn't had a Republican Governor since 1985, reelected the only white politician more stupid than Joe Biden for 3 terms as governor, has the third highest gas prices in the nation, and is basically held hostage by 1-2 counties.
Yeah but old school New Yorkers still remember the good old days when Rudy Giuliani, Michael Bloomberg, and quite frankly Donald Trump were running things. Like if it were DeBlasio vs Trump for the mayor of New York, Trump wins that one walking away. Only elitists and communists would vote for DeBlasio with that. Granted I think it’s a certainty Trump would lose to Bloomberg, but people are now fricking pissed in that city.
As for the Presidency, yeah I think Biden still wins in NY, but it’s going to be like by five points. The Democrats will be appalled by it.

If Trump were still in charge during the Evacuation of Afghanistan, would Trump have done the following:
A) Evacuate the military before our own citizens, our allies, our translators and their families, and our equipment, and do so in the middle of the night without telling anyone in the Afghan government?
B) Abandon Bagram (an isolated three runway airport that also houses terrorist prisoners) in favor of protecting the Embassy (which can be moved to Bagram) and the Kabul Airport (a one runway airport in the middle of a packed city)?
C) Have his State Department give the Taliban a fricking kill list on all the Afghans that helped them in an effort to tell the Taliban to let the people that fricked you over through?
Would he have done all that?

The loss of decorum started with the Left's reaction to GW. Nooses. Hitler mustaches. In public. At events. Yeah, totally acceptable behavior. That's when it all went down hill. Conservatives didn't have the balls to do much public shaming, and nearly every Conservative candidate is taken down by trash public reactions and accusations. Be honest.

As a libertarian, I have little sympathy for W and especially Cheney. What they did in Iraq is inexcusable and evil, and I remember even at the young age of 15 being against it and being mockingly called a terrorist supporter by my fellow high schoolers and a few of my uncles. Sorry, frick those guys. Same with John McCain and Lindsey Graham.

I don't disagree. But that was the first time we saw large scale awful public reactions, and it's only intensified since. And it also laid the groundwork for the general language that gets tossed at Conservatives today, regardless of whether or not Bush was a terrible president.
Conservatives as Nazis is STILL present and used.
