There's a reason I'm referencing my twenties/formative years. I currently have zero debt, make more money than probably 98% of the posters on this board, will be putting a $500k down payment on a place within the next 1-2 years, and am on track to retire comfortably in my early 60s. That's why I mentioned starting saving whatever you can as early in your career as you can.
