Apparently that’s the sentiment until you join one of the baby Dmax FB groups lol. Without having the ability to delete the engine I don’t think I would ever get one. I had considered the Ram Eco-diesel until it got to where you couldn’t delete them. Then they went and added a second EGR.

Was your buddy’s 6.2 a lifter issue still? I really think Ford screwed the pooch with their cylinder deactivation. Long term tests will tell I guess.

Thankfully I’m not a member of them or I might start looking for problems that aren’t there.

He never told me but I am guessing that’s what it was since those engines are notorious for that.

I have heard nothing but good things about a 3.0.

The 5.3 and 6.2 have been ruined by the AFM. I hope Ford did not ruin the 5.0 with their B.S.
