I kept a bougainvillea over the winter, I cut it way back and it has leafed back out and is nice and green, but no blooms, what do I need to do it get it to bloom? Jxn, MS area.

I bought one with blooms, aphids got it, now it’s back healthy & green but no evidence of blooms
Mine is in a hanging pot, I’m wondering if it’s not getting enough sun

I've had this issue with them before

I’ve always heard they’ll bloom better if you don’t repot them and don’t fertilize.

They like little water and to be root bound.

Stress it by withholding water until it wilts. Then water it.
Make sure it’s in full sun.

I’ve got mine in full sun on my back patio. Freeze got it last year and it cut it all the way down to see what would happen. Grew quickly and jus started blooming again a few weeks ago
It was green like the OP was describing and one day it re bloomed. Just give it a little more time

Full sun, do not repot, and clip the ends of each branch. Will signal the rest of the branch to bloom.

Bloodmeal has helped me in the past to encourage blooming.

Same with mine this year. Very mature and allowed it to go dormant. It came back very full and green but just in the past two weeks started blooming. I read same things as you, don't replant/repot, cut back, fertilize, etc. I ended up fertilizing again about a month ago and that is when it started blooming. Also, I add some fresh potting soil. I think the soil may have just run it's course and it needed the extra nutrients. I typically only use Ozmacote but juiced it with some Miracle Grow last month. Good luck.

I'm impressed you kept it alive over the winter. We lost 7 huge ones.
