Looking for advice. Which town hosts the best marathon? NOLA, BR, Shreveport?

Highway 73 and Highway 74 in Geismar recently rebranded to Marathon. It’s a convenience and gas station store - no frills.

They sell Krispy Krunchy chicken and it’s pretty good but not as good as the KK on Old Perkins at Airline Highway in Prairieville.

Never ran the BR one but did the Mardi Gras marathon in NOLA 14 years ago and no complaints.

Most are saying BR. I’d imagine it’d be a pretty boring route. At least NOLA would be a more attractive run Id think.

Forget Louisiana. Drive to Biloxi for the Gulf Coast Marathon

Both are very good if you’re doing a half marathon. Both suck if you’re doing the full marathon. I’d say BR sucks slightly less for the full.

I can't imagine putting in the training time only to have a run through BR or Shreveport as the big payoff

Travel to a more interesting one
