"Auburn nabs five interceptions off LSU quarterback Jamie Howard in the final quarter and returns three of them for touchdowns. The winning team accrues only 16 yards of offense and one first down in the second half"

Nuss almost had one of those type of games Saturday. Glad the penalties saved us.

I would say Howard was on the take that day but that wouldn’t explain why they kept calling pass.

according to my calendar, that year the dates went from Friday Sep. 16 to Sunday Sep 18.

Prior to the third pick-six on 3rd & 4, my friend next to me said that if we throw the ball, he was going to throw up.
As Howard was dropping back, we were both yelling "Take the Sack, Take the Sack."
There was no way Auburn would have scored with two minutes and no timeouts if LSU had run and punted the ball.
Hallman and Lynn Amadee should have never been allowed on the plane back.

I remember somebody putting an old car on campus with Jamie Howard painted on it and people were beating it with a sledgehammer.

I remember something about Richard Condon going off about Howard on the air and I think he called the radio station to confront Condon.

Those were the good old days.

Any other horrible and painful anniversary you want to point out? 9/11? Chernobyl? Johnstown Flood? Titanic Sinking? Hurricane Katrina?

What's even not funny in the famous 95 12-6 "Troy Twillie" game he damn near threw another one but the CB dropped it as I recall Was a tense game anyway and great W!

I was there. Hard to believe it’s been 30 years.

He doubled his Atlanta Braves signing bonus that day

Watched that game at the College Dr Hooters back in the day. We consumed many pitchers of beer watching that debacle. One of the funnier things I have seen was a grown man walk into the bathroom after the last interception thrown and proceed to rip the towel dispenser off the wall and spike it on the ground. It was the only thing we could celebrate that afternoon.

I didn’t realize that it’s been around since 1994. I thought it had opened in the late 90’s.

One of my good friends was an Auburn student at the time. Invited me to come down and sit in the student section with him. So glad I didn’t. That shite was painful enough to watch from home. I had anger tears welling up. Lynn Amadee, WITAF ?!!!!

Yesterday was my 29th anniversary and was also an Auburn game 1995. I didn’t follow much back then and a few of my friends missed the wedding. Several others had earphones in.

Lynn Amedee was a worthless piece of shite.
After the game, in which he repeatedly called passing plays despite a huge lead, he threw Jamie Howard under the bus:
Hey jackass, try stop being a jackass! Instead of blaming your QB for making the wrong decision, how about YOU stop making the wrong decision and, instead, call a running play!
Lynn Amedee has to be the ABSOLUTE WORST coach to ever work for LSU in any sport.

No more calls, please. We have a winner.
Louisiana State offensive coordinator Lynn Amedee is the Southeastern Conference's Twit of the Month.
It is not just because Amedee was the mastermind behind LSU's ridiculous play-calling in the fourth quarter against Auburn on Saturday _ although that alone made him a front-runner _ but rather because Amedee had the audacity to lay all the blame at the feet of his 20-year-old quarterback.

"If we would have executed the play better in either reading the coverage or throwing to the guy who was open or throwing it away, it wouldn't have been nothing wrong," Amedee said later.
In other words, Howard was to blame.
"I thought it was an easy call because it's something that's either there or it's not," Amedee said. "It was not a high-risk pass because it wasn't downfield. When we're talking about a high-risk pass, it's one thrown across the middle. This was very simple: Either throw it outside or away."

Maybe Amadee and Curey had money on it
