Wrestlemania Weekend: Night Two 4/20/2025 (Preshow 3pm/Show 6pm)

Night 2... let's get at it...
- Randy's opponent is expected to be Rusev but the opinions in Night 1's thread differ. Hendry, Aldis, and just putting him in with Cody & Cena have been suggested.
- Becky Lynch is expected to be Lyra's partner. Bayley is healthy and did the angle to create a spot for her return.
- There is some talk that the Charlotte-Tiffany match was very close to going the way of the Chicago face off. There are several moments being pointed out as examples of Charlotte not taking care of her opponent.
- The Slammys were handed out today with the following winners:
- Jade Cargill wrestled most of her match with only her sheer bodysuit preventing a full on wardrobe malfunction. It did not stop the internet from enhancing several close up screen grabs which showed her nipple out throughout the match.
- Also coming out of Night 1, WWE/TKO has acquired AAA and announced a "World's Collide" PPV set for June 7th in Los Angeles. HHH was asked about it in his press conference and committed to AAA keeping the Lucha style rather than forcing them to adopt the WWE style. The acquisition will clear the way for WWE talent working AAA matches and AAA doing WWE. One of the first matches looks likely to be Alberto El Patron vs Andrade. (This may be a big reason for the Gable/EGA angle and going with the Gulf of Mexico change to it.)
-Cena and Heyman have been advertised for tomorrow's Pat McAfee Show.
Here are the odds for tonight:
- Don't forget the postshow streams on YouTube a few minutes after the main event ends.

Here are the odds for tonight:
quote:The odds for Night 1 were correct. I don't expect that to change tonight. I think Naomi comes out to help Bianca. I think the odds would be different for the women's tag match if Becky was announced. They need to get her into a program and Bayley has gotten a bit stale. Expect her to cost Lyra and Becky.

How do they have betting odds in a fake sport?
Posted on 4/20/25 at 4:13 pm to LoneStar23
Why did they have odds for how John Dutton died on Yellowstone?
Posted on 4/20/25 at 4:19 pm to MSUDawg98
Travis Scott at WWE World ripping cards.

Why do they still call it the undisputed WWE championship when they created another top title for Raw? Doesn't really seem "undisputed" if you went back to 2 championships

There’s always a greater than 0% chance someone works themselves into a shoot, brother

I haven’t looked but there’s no way you can bet this on DraftKings for instance.

Not sure if anyone posted it yesterday, but Bron gave us a great breakdown of the fatal 4 way match with some Steiner math lmao

There's a Heavyweight and a WWE Championship. I'm sure you can figure out the lineage but in is most simplistic form, Roman had both the Smackdown and Raw HW titles. They combined them with Roman and then started the HW title that Jey won last night.
Going back one step, the Raw/Universal title was created at which time the WWE title was on SD. They then traded titles as champions were drafted to the other brand. Frankly you need to do a shitload of work to map out how the WWE lineage moved through the 21st century. The BGB (WCW & NWA lineage) was folded into the WWE title by Jericho in 2001.
ETA: Jericho is the only wrestler to ever hold the WWE, WCW, ROH, and AFW World Heavyweight Titles.

While we're killing time, where does last night's triple threat rank compared to past 'instant classics"?
Everyone loved how the main event last year played out but that was mostly because of the cameos near the end. This one goes above that. I have trouble with it going up to the level of Savage-Steamboat. Hart-Austin sends like a good comparison. To me a classic match is one that you can watch without sound and still not miss a thing.

It was done so greatly. I feel like the Seth Heyman hookup was inevitable, but the way they did it was perfect imo. They match was really good it’s an classic but not top 5

My first time ever hoping for a Cena win.
