Oregon Leads for Reed?
Soup answered you yesterday.

he said Sean.

he made a post on the Oregon Ducks board:

"Finally, Sean said that Trovon plans on annoucing his commitment sometime next Friday. Sean said that it's possible that if Trovon isn't sure where he wants to play, that he will hold off, however that Friday is particularly special as it is his mom's birthday. Unfortunately, Trovon's mother passed away earlier this year"

Of course now he has purportedly postponed his decision and I think that he'll be closer to a NSD decision like Seastrunk. I think LSU has given him a lot to think about, despite all the talk here that Reed no higher than 3rd on LSU's board (pure speculation by those folks). I don't see him going to Oregon if LS is an LSU Tiger. (The reverse is also a good possibility for LS, esp if the USC/Oregon interest is a smokescreen due to distance).

Something else to consider is that Reed never took his family to Oregon like he did for Auburn the 2 times he went.

I think reed would make a great SEC cornerback, if LSU signs him I think they should sign him as such. He is not a must have for miles like most top seniors in LA normally are.

I honestly think we get both Seastrunk and Reed. This is purely speculation and did not come from my "source". It's just the vibes I've gotten form those "in the know" and the verbal tendancies of the recruits themselves.

Also Reed announcing on his mother's b day would seem to lend itself to him going somewhere else, as it's a day that no one would give him a hard time. If he doesn't announce then, I think our chances go up astronomically.

He was scheduled to be in Tennessee this weekend, but I guess with his high school homecoming this weekend he backed out

Reed as a quaterback. Where do you guys come up with this stuff? Masoli is 5'11" and 225 pounds. He's suitable to run a spread option and take a few hits. You've seen what happens to RS when he runs. Do you think he's an every down quaterback in a spread option?

He's obviously not a must-have for LSU. Auburn and oregon both need a high-impact WR alot more desperately than LSU. He'd just be an asset in BR, and most likely be redshirted til other talent can clear the field so he can get some PT. Don't understand why people think he is priority no. 1 for Miles

+1. If the Tigers stand pat with the guys in the current recruiting fold along with what they've got Reed would be a R/S candidate in BR next year. Based on his latest early playing time comments it would be surprising for him to come to Tiger Town.

I wish Trovon the best wherever he ends up ..no kid is obligated to come to LSU. If his heart leads him elsewhere good luck to him.
Why would any fan want a commit here that doesnt want to play here?

Coach Rod, Has LSU matched AU's offers. I know he wants playtime as a freshman. Also What do u think about Joel F. Can he become a top T in louisiana?
