Building on Lanier's post...
Had a recurring role on the show The Good Wife as quirky lawyer/investigator Elsbeth Tascioni.
She now has her own spin-off called Elsbeth, and one of the series regulars is Wendell Pierce, who among many other roles, played Antoine Batiste in Treme.
