Does he have his own offensive system, or will he keep his copy of Payton's playbook.

Interesting.

Didn't he turn down interviews last year because he said he wasn't ready to be a head coach. I wonder what happened in a year.

Since the O goes through Payton, all I can say is adios Carmichael, if true

I think an offense similar to our system would be perfect for Cutler (who gets a lot of undeserved criticism, BTW), Forte, and Marshall.

I agree they also need a decent number 2 receiver

I remember GW "claiming" to turn down interview opportunities but I thought Carmichael took his interviews.

LSU would never run a play as complex as pass 1. Look at how much is going on there.

Didn't want to be the guy to say it but his moment to step outside of Sean Payton's shadow, I wasn't real impressed.

What really frustrated me was his lack of imagination in the run game.

I kind of agree. There is a huge difference between a coordinator and a play caller. Carmichael seems more like a playcaller.

There was a void of leadership early in the season...and Carmichael looked to be one of the people waiting for a solution instead of the one finding a solution.
