What would be more interesting is comparing the college accolades and draft position of our boys vs their group.

Win you look at these guys going not just first rounder but whatnot hey accomplished in college.

Plus I think the SM99 story is a great one to show. Because he was hurt early in career out staff got him healthy and back to all American caliber again.

They had Hardy!

1) Ask your brother who he would've chosen between OM and LSU when he was being recruited.

2) Do you want to be part of a championship contender or part of a rebuilding process?

3) LSU's down year is 10-3. Ole Miss's great year was 7-6.

4) Immediate playing time. "We don't recruit players to redshirt them," John Chavis.

5) Not only is our 2013 class beastly with the current commitments, but 2014 will probably be stellar as well, which means there is a good chance you leave for the NFL after winning a NC.

Play for a top 5 program.
Play in front of 93,000, soon to be 100,000.
Play for the BEST DL coach in college football.
Top 10 draft pick when he goes pro.

(I would include early playing time, but this guy will play next year wherever he goes)

If all else fails show him our synthetic product line.

Get him connected with Honey Badger and JJ. Plus looks as if we have a regional rep for Deer antler spray as well.

Its bass ackwards over there. When my little brother was a recruit I took a visit with him to Ole Miss and the band played for the recruits. They played Dixie and all the black families and recruits got up and sang the entire song. Most surreal thing I have ever seen.

"Ole Miss has had more mascots than championships."

"...oh, and do you know why they had to change mascots?"

Avoid negative recruiting. OM is still the staunch favorite, make no mistake about it. Negative recruiting to a kid in regards to his favorite will just push him even more towards them.

Push championship pedigree of LSU, push D-line draft history. Push facilities, Tiger Stadium. Early playing time alongside future 1st round picks.

Let him draw his own conclusions about how inferior OM is, don't tell him.

I wish the draft was this weekend so he could see Big Sam and Mingo go in the 1st round.
