Head of the Louisiana Family Forum.
Super powerful lobbyist.

I am sorry that I am asking these questions but I have really never heard of them. Are they Church affiliated?
Posted on 6/20/14 at 11:00 pm to bencoleman
I don't think they're affiliated with a specific denomination, but they are the Religious Right in Louisiana.
I'm sure they have a website.

Does the REAL ID have an added layer of security or something?
Just like the passport it will have an RFID tag that will leave your personal info up for grabs.

No, it won't.

The governor spends over 80 days per year outside of the state.
Define leadership, please?

Louisiana Family Forum basically controls the State government for some reason. They are known for flooding legislators mailings with their bs to get votes cast how they want, and they almost always get what they want.

How many days per year does the LA State Legislature meet?
How many days in while in session is Bobby J in the state?
Is it not possible to lead and make decisions from phone or computer?

Like when Jindal went to Taiwan to promote Louisiana and spoke with Formosa, the largest corporation in Taiwan that has a plant here? Like the fact he promoted Louisiana to various industries to come set up shop here?
It's not like he is playing golf in the middle of a crisis or announcing he just heard about it from the news.

I am willing to bet he goes to church, I wonder if he is a pastor or just a member.

Bobby Jindal is the absolute worst governor this state has ever had. I would take 20 years of Mike Foster before 8 years of this moron.
I bet you have to wear a helmet just to leave the house

You need to be more specific. Is that 80 days out of the Monday thru Friday days of the week or 80 days out of a seven day week? Let's see, 104 weekend days in a year and he's out of state for 80? I don't see your point of bitching.

Since you can't take time to read the first page of the thread. I posted this:

I'm not a supporter of real ID but this is not the way to fight it IMO.

Not sure you understand the meaning of the big words you are using.
When the Feds over-reached and forced states to raise the drinking age to 21 or lose highway funding we raised the drinking age. We didn't keep the drinking age 18.
Although it's not the greatest comparison since this bill forced no one to opt in. It only gave people the OPTION of getting an ID that meets the minimum standards. Why would you have a problem with that?
Posted on 6/21/14 at 7:32 am to BACONisMEATcandy
Because there's no need for it
Posted on 6/21/14 at 7:34 am to Choctaw
Those of us who get on a plane on a regular basis would beg to differ
Posted on 6/21/14 at 7:36 am to BACONisMEATcandy
I'm sitting on a plane right now
Posted on 6/21/14 at 7:40 am to Choctaw
So do you have an LA DL? Do you want to just start carrying your passport?
Posted on 6/21/14 at 7:40 am to BACONisMEATcandy
Each new day seems to bring a new Jindal absurdity. Frankly, it's become so silly at this point that it's sort of funny. Unfortunately, it's more depressing than anything.
